Karza Maher Elementary School

On Saturday August 31 we went with our humanitarian couple up to Bomi County to give 115 desk/chairs, some teachers desks and chairs, 6 black boards, books and school supplies to a remote school that serves 4 villages.  It was way off the road and along the path they had palm leaf arches to welcome us.  Everyone came out for the "party."  The children were all dressed in their uniforms.  They sang us songs and there were speeches and just a lot of good fun.  At the end there was a local drum group that came to demonstrate "African culture."  It was great fun and best part was when the Elders (I mean the elder Elders) got out there and danced with the natives!!!!
